It’s something like a tutorial because I’ve added captions in the video at various points in my process. I used Camtasia Studio to record my screen during my color process. Only after compositing the video in Adobe Premier, and showing it to a friend, I realized Camtasia has this cool auto-zoom in function that doesn’t look great when it’s been sped up in my final video.
I hope the zooming isn’t too annoying. I’ll get my head around Camtasia soon. Enjoy.

Wow, this is cool. And I love your art.
The motion seems a bit speedy, but not terrible. To slow things down a touch, you could just go into the SmartFocus zoom points on your Camtasia Studio timeline and increase the duration by the same factor that you’ll be speeding up the video in Premiere. So if you’re planning to double the rate in Premiere, set all the Camtasia zoom effects to 2 seconds instead of 1 second.
Another approach is to tell Camtasia Studio not to apply SmartFocus zooms initially…and then use Camtasia’s “clip speed” feature to get the time-lapse effect:

Then you can produce the sped-up footage as an AVI, bring it back onto the timeline in Camtasia Studio, add pan-n-zoom and callouts at normal rates, and produce the final video. With that workflow you wouldn’t really need Premiere.

Spectacular video. This is basically the same process I go through, but your results are so much better than anything I can come up with. Although it is nice to know that I’m kinda going about it the right way.
Seeing the process is quite rad, didn’t realise how much went into colouring, I’d assumed it was all just click and fill. But I’m a writer, so I’m excused, right? Right? Aw.
