Sketches and Time Wasted

Here’s my third update so far. I’ve mostly been messing around with the css of the website. Trying to add some nice features. I was messing around far too long and not coming to a conclusion on the design direction of the site that I ended up just wasting my time.

I’ve been working on a video that will be posted soon of my illustration process. It should be something nice and it features an illustration of Hayao Miyazaki hard at work. He is huge creative hero of mine. If I can accomplish half of what he’s done in my lifetime then I’ll be a happy man.

For now, like my other major influence Josh Middleton, I’ll do a small update of some old sketches.

    Hi Diana,

Sorry for the late reply. But yes in a sense. Well I used to do comic books. I hope to get back into things soon. I have some ideas, but after working as a comic book penciler I realized how hard that job is.

Working at a book in your own time is way easier…but when you don’t have someone kickin you in the ass things tend to drag on – hence that fact that I have no new comic book work.

Kudos for coming to my blog. Thanks very much
